It's a web app that finds songs with a specific tempo expressed in BPM (beatsper minute). I created it after noticing that every other solution I found onthe web wouldn't work well for me.

Why BPM software? Business process management or BPM platforms have matured over the years. A product category which started as a simple workflow automation, distribution and management toolset has mightily transformed itself into a robust process management platform which touches all facets of enterprise growth and transformation. BPM Music allows you to select and stream Music for your requested BPM when you are for example in the gym or running outside. Heart rate, or heart pulse, is the speed of the heartbeat measured by the number of heartbeats per unit of time — typically beats per minute (bpm).

My gripes about other websites with BPM-searching options, e.g. jog.fm:
- They depend on a very small subset of tracks--not the full discography of artists.
- Only popular artists are in their selection.
- Some are just set playlists that don't change.
There is also software that analyzes all the audio files on your computer to showthe tempo of files in your own collection, which is cool. But this is not verygood for discovering new music that you haven't purchased and downloaded yet.
My app is pretty simple and lets you find a ton of songs in your target BPM.You just put in the name of an artist you like, and a target BPM. (180 BPM iscommonly used for runners.) And then the app shows songs by that artist thatmatch or are close to the BPM you chose. The results are color-coded to show howclose each song is to the target BPM. Half-tempo results are also consideredclose, e.g. 90bpm matches to every other beat of 180bpm.
The song database comes from Spotify. https://buddmisig.hatenablog.com/entry/2020/11/22/201244. They have a great selection of songs anda sweet API for accessing them.
This app is grabbing a huge amount of data from Spotify. When you ask for someartists with big discographies like 'Prince' or 'David Bowie', data forthousands of tracks is downloaded and processed. Popular artiststhat have been around for decades, get their songs onto compilations, and multipleversions of their songs are made, e.g. remixes, edits. There are request limitsimposed by Spotify, and I've taken a lot of care in making the API requestsefficient and reducing the need to call Spotify APIs.
Queries are cached in the browser's local storage, so if you enter an artistand BPM a second time, you'll notice the screen update with results near instantly.Cached results go stale after a week, and a new query will be made at that point.
I've put this out into the world under the oh-so-permissive MIT license. Feelfree to use the code for your own projects. I would appreciate bug reports andsource code contributions.

Did you ever wonder what the BPM column in your favorite music player could be used for?
Well, first you have to fill it. Windows xp sp3 final iso download. There are multiple tools that let you tap the beat to some song and then write the BPM value into iTunes/Music. This is probably a good method, if you have—say—10 songs.
If you have more than 10 songs, you need a tool for automatic BPM detection. One like beaTunes.
Once you have determined the BPM of songs in your library, you can build playlists based on the tempo of your tracks. It makes it a lot easier to find those slow dance, running or roadtrip songs.
Here's how it works
- Get the free beaTunes trial version for Windows or Mac and install it on your computer
- Start beaTunes
- Either select the songs you want to analyze and click on the Analyze button or go to Tools > Analyze all Songs
- beaTunes will now show you the analysis options dialog:
- Choose Estimate BPM, select whether you want to replace already existing BPM values (probably not) - then start the analysis
(you might also want to check the Determine color checkbox while you are at it - it will help you to create great playlists) - The songs are now analyzed in the background
- To track progress, click on the Analysis/Task Queue item in the left part of the main window:
- The progress bars in the first rows shows how much of the analysis of a song is completed
- When the analysis is running, the Pause Analysis button is enabled allowing you to pause analysis at any time
- BPM analysis is a one time effort that takes some time - we recommend to run it over night
- Note, that when you shut down beaTunes and restart it, it resumes analysis where you stopped it
